Because I am the Editor of the writing magazine Mslexia, I spend a lot of time doling out advice about writing. Which makes it rather nerve-wracking when I edge my head above the parapet with a novel of my own. Have I taken my own advice? If you’re interested in writing, or in historical crime, or the paranormal, or gender reassignment – do come along and listen to a short reading from my novel Herring Girl and (if you feel like it) join in the discussion afterwards. The library have promised refreshments.
