Romantic Novelists Association Conference
For those of a rose-tinted persuasion I’ll be leading two workshops at the Leeds Beckett University campus, as part of the RNA’s annual conflab. The first, on the morning of 14 July, is about writing that all-important pitch letter (What is your novel really about? And what is its ‘unique selling point’?). The second, in the afternoon, aims to demystify the writing of a synopsis and leave you with the bare bones of this crucial piece of text. I’ll be at the Mslexia stall before and afterwards if you want to talk more about the submission process – and how to enter our 2018 Women’s Fiction Awards for unpublished novels, novellas, short stories and flash fiction.
