For those of you who don’t (yet) have an agent, I’ll be giving a talk about the importance of independent publishers for nurturing new talent and helping writers get onto the publishing ladder – and explaining how to submit to the 600-plus book publishers and literary mag listed in the latest edition of Mslexia’s Indie Press Guide. I’ll be at the Mslexia stall before and afterwards if you want to talk more about the submission process – and how to enter our 2018 Women’s Fiction Awards for unpublished novels, novellas, short stories and flash fiction.
